Daily Fantasy Basketball H2H Series: Day 21

Winning feels good. That’s why I enjoy this head to head contest. Beating Daniel makes it incredibly easy to feel good about myself. With that said, here’s last night’s scoreboard:

I assume he’s feeling like this right about now.

The actual matchup was Devin Harris, Monta Ellis, Gerald Henderson, Matt Barnes and Kevin Love versus Daniel’s team of J.J. Barea, Bradley Beal, Nicolas Batum, Al-Farouq Aminu and LaMarcus Aldridge. I felt like Harris/Barea were a coin flip, so it was easier to just take the guy with the lower price. Monta Ellis had a nice matchup, and this pick looked even better once the news came out about Dirk Nowitzki. He ended up just short of 5X, so I can’t complain too much. Gerald Henderson went bananas for nearly 8X value. Unfortunately, that was balanced out by Matt Barnes getting ejected. Kevin Love underperformed, but on a low scoring night, it was still solid.

I really liked Daniel’s team at first glance. My only issue was LaMarcus Aldridge. I’m leery of him right now because I don’t trust his health. Ultimately, he was fine last night. Bradley Beal was hurt early, which was a huge blow right off the bat. Batum played incredibly well, which helped make up for Beal, but with Aminu underperforming, it was too much to overcome.
