Daily Fantasy Basketball Projections

I hope everyone had a successful Friday in daily fantasy. We have one early game today (Blazers @ Clippers), with the rest of the slate kicking off at 7:00pm. I’m not sure how much time I’ll have to keep these updated through the day, but if there are any updates, I will make a note. The following daily fantasy projections are based on DraftKings scoring. Another day, another waiting game on Derrick Rose. At this point, you all should know the drill. Steph Curry looks like a great play and I’ll be having some exposure to him. I won’t be anywhere near CP3 or Wall, however. Because of Ricky Rubio’s injury last night, Mo Williams becomes a must play. Similar to that situation, Phil Pressey will be getting 30+ minutes with Rondo and Smart both out. Normally, Isaiah Canaan would look like a strong value play due to Beverley being out, but I think Pressey & Mo Williams are better options.

Lots of solid options at SG. Harden looks great. That Rockets/Warriors game should be fun to watch. Dwyane Wade is the best play in the non-Harden SG division. Kevin Martin is an excellent option again. Avery Bradley should get a couple extra opportunities with Rondo out. From there, we have the under $4k group. Courtney Lee, Garrett Temple, OJ Mayo, Tim Hardaway and Marcus Thornton are all great values plays.

Once again, I will not be anywhere near Carmelo Anthony. Roster at your own risk. Small forward feels blurry, so I will likely only be pulling one person from this player pool. Trevor Ariza looks like the best play of the group for the higher tier guys. I will most likely be swimming in the more shallow waters of CJ Miles (if he plays) or Shawne Williams.

People are going to think I’m crazy for the Anthony Davis numbers. I agree that he is probably under projected, I do think he is over priced. I believe you’ll have a hard time reaching value with him. I would rather have LaMarcus Aldridge or Paul Millsap and the extra savings. Chris Copeland continues to be a no-brainer option at PF. Taj Gibson could be an option, but I’d like to see where his minutes stabilize before I start rostering him.
